A Ground Force Platform

Questions, Answered

The XI Ready FAQ is a reference for common questions about accounts, plans, check-ins, and responsible use of training information.

What is XI Ready?

XI Ready is a soccer decision engine from Ground Force Strength & Conditioning. It connects player wellness, reported effort, training load, and the match-week schedule so players, coaches, and clubs can discuss the next step with clearer context.

Does XI Ready replace a coach?

No. XI Ready organizes athlete data and can assist with planning, but training decisions remain with the coaching staff.

Does XI Ready require wearable hardware?

No external wearable is required for wellness check-ins or player-reported RPE. Athletes use their phone, so there is no separate sensor to lose or disconnect. Certain jump-based tests use phone sensors, and clubs can also import supported GPS data when available.

Can coaches see who completed a check-in?

Yes. Coach and club views show check-in completion across the selected squad so staff can see recorded responses and which players have not yet checked in. A missing check-in is shown as missing data, not as a readiness result.

How should ACWR and RSI be interpreted?

XI Ready uses player-reported session RPE, recent load context, and jump-based RSI measurements. These established sport-science concepts help structure monitoring and conversations, but ACWR does not predict injury and RSI is not medical clearance. Results should be interpreted with athlete feedback and qualified professional judgement.

Is XI Ready suitable for youth soccer?

Yes. XI Ready supports youth through adult players and is useful for clubs that want a consistent way to monitor wellness, workload, and recovery across age groups.

What data does XI Ready track?

XI Ready tracks daily wellness such as sleep, soreness, mood, energy, and stress, plus readiness scores, player-reported RPE, training load, readiness trends, group status, and RSI jump-testing results.

Is XI Ready free for individual players?

Yes. Individual players can use the core platform — daily wellness check-ins, the 0–100 readiness score, and weekly training structure — free, with no credit card required. Advanced features are available on paid plans.

How does the readiness score work?

Each morning, players complete a short check-in covering sleep, soreness, energy, mood, and stress. XI Ready combines the recorded responses into a 0–100 readiness score with guidance to Modify, Monitor, or be Ready. It is a self-report summary, not a medical assessment.

What is the RSI test?

RSI stands for Reactive Strength Index. XI Ready records jump-based measurements so a player or coach can review a result alongside that player's own testing history. The test does not provide medical clearance or predict injury.

How does load management work?

XI Ready compares recent recorded training load with a rolling baseline to help coaches notice meaningful changes. Load data is descriptive: it does not diagnose injury, predict injury, or guarantee prevention, and it should be interpreted with athlete feedback and professional judgement.

What exactly is a microcycle?

A microcycle is a training week structured around the next match. XI Ready maps each day relative to the match — MD-4, MD-3, MD-2, MD-1, MD+1, MD+2 — and helps coaches communicate session intent, intensity, and volume.

How do players join a team?

Coaches share an invite code or QR code. Players sign up, link to the right squad, and can complete their first wellness check-in the same day. A full roster can be onboarded within minutes.

What do the paid plans cost?

Player Pro is $9.99 per month, Coach Pro is $49 per month, and Club Pro is $199 per month. The pricing page lists the features and athlete limits for every plan.

Who is XI Ready for?

XI Ready is for individual soccer players, coaches, teams, clubs, and academies that want readiness, planning, load, and development context in one shared platform.

How is data for minors handled?

Access to minor athlete data is limited by role and club membership. Clubs remain responsible for consent, safeguarding, and deciding who can collect, review, and act on athlete information.

Is my data private and secure?

Data is encrypted in transit, access is controlled by role-based permissions, and payments are handled by Stripe. The data security and privacy pages explain the platform's controls and policies in more detail.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and you can cancel at any time — you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period, with no long-term contract.
